October 30, 2009: The Federation's Groups held a Plenary Meeting on August 31st, 2009 to address the issues raised by the Executive Committee, and the Executive Committee met last on Wednesday October 30th.
In both meetings, the performance of the Law Firm representing the Federation (Leto & Asociados) was formally ratified. It was also agreed to dramatically intensify all the relevant actions aimed at achieving the claims currently being asserted by the Federation (see the "Claims" page). Further, additional legal support in both Argentina and the US has been secured (allowing the Federation to pursue is goals jointly in Argentina, and with New York courts and regulators), and additional resources recently added to the struggle have allowed a global PR firm to be engaged, with the purpose of exposing this entire situation to the markets and investors with relevant interests.
